Platja de La Punta del Riu

Punta del Río Beach is located next to the Hospitalet de l'Infant Marina. Like the one in Arenal, it is also highly recommended for practicing water sports. Next to this small beach, 600 m long and 70 m wide, which connects L'Hospitalet de l'Infant with the municipality of Mont-roig del Camp, is the mouth of the Llastres river, a good example of a wetland mediterranean. From the wooden walkway that crosses it, you can see, among other plants, the reedbed, the tamarind and the rush; migratory birds and protected species such as the fartet, an endangered fish.
